2. What this website is
This website describes the data consulting services SixFiftyThree offers and gives you a way to get in touch. It is an informational and marketing site. Nothing on it is an offer to enter into a contract, and nothing on it creates a consulting engagement between you and SixFiftyThree.
3. No professional advice and no client relationship
The content on this site is general information about data governance, analytics, reporting, and related services. It is not professional advice about your specific business, finances, accounting, tax position, or legal obligations, and you should not act on it as though it were.
A consulting relationship with SixFiftyThree begins only when both parties sign a written agreement describing the work. Submitting the contact form, scheduling a call, or exchanging email does not by itself create that relationship, and information you send before an agreement is signed is not covered by the confidentiality terms of an engagement. Please do not send sensitive or confidential business information through this website.
4. Permitted use
You may view, download, and print pages from this site for your own business evaluation purposes. You may not:

Your use of the site does not transfer any ownership or license to you beyond the permitted use described above.
6. What you send us
When you submit the contact form you give us the information you typed into it. You are responsible for making sure that information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. SixFiftyThree Consulting LLC’s Privacy Policy is below. Questions concerning this policy may be submitted to info@sixfiftythree.net.
SixFiftyThree Consulting LLC
Effective date: September 17, 2026
SixFiftyThree Consulting LLC is a data consulting practice based in Lake Villa, Illinois. We take the position that a consultant who advises businesses on handling data responsibly should collect as little of yours as possible. This policy explains exactly what this website collects, where it goes, and what you can ask us to do about it.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers www.sixfiftythree.net. It does not cover information you give us during a signed consulting engagement, which is governed by the confidentiality terms of that agreement, and it does not cover third-party sites we link to.
2. Information you give us
The only place this website asks for information is the contact form. When you submit it, we receive:
- first name
- last name
- email address
- phone number
- the primary challenge you selected
- your message
- how you heard about us
We ask for all seven because they are what we need to respond usefully. We do not ask for payment information, government identification numbers, or any special category of personal data, and you should not send those through this site.
3. Information collected automatically
This website does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tags, session recording, heat mapping, or any third-party analytics service. We do not track you across other websites.
This site sets no cookies of its own. Your browser stores two small items while you use it:
- a
_grecaptchaentry placed by Google reCAPTCHA on the contact page, described below; - a
_cohortIdvalue that exists only for the current browser session and is erased when you close the tab.
Neither is used for advertising, and neither is shared with anyone.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
4. Third-party services we rely on
Google reCAPTCHA. The contact form uses reCAPTCHA v2 to block automated submissions. Google receives your IP address and interaction data with the widget, and uses it to distinguish humans from bots. This is subject to Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (policies.google.com/terms). We use it because without it the form is a spam target, and we do not receive advertising data back from it.
Google Workspace. When you submit the form, the submission is sent to a Google Apps Script endpoint operated by SixFiftyThree. It writes one row to a private Google Sheet in our account and emails a notification to us. You receive an automatic confirmation email that your message was received.
Google Calendar appointment scheduling. If you book a call through the scheduling link, Google collects what you enter on that page under its own privacy policy.
LinkedIn. We link to our LinkedIn profile. We do not embed LinkedIn tracking on this site, so LinkedIn learns nothing about you unless you click through.
5. How we use your information
We use what you send us to:
- reply to your inquiry;
- assess whether the work you describe is something we can help with;
- prepare for a call or a proposal you asked for;
- keep a record of business inquiries;
- meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
We do not add you to a marketing mailing list from a contact form submission.
6. We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it only:
- to the service providers named in section 4, who process it on our behalf;
- if required by law, subpoena, or a valid government request;
- to protect our legal rights or the security of the site;
- to a successor if the business is sold, in which case this policy continues to apply until replaced.
7. How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond and for our business records, and no longer than three years after the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need them longer to meet a legal or accounting obligation. Server logs are kept on our host's standard schedule.
8. Security
Form submissions travel over an encrypted HTTPS connection and are stored in a Google account protected by a strong password and multi-factor authentication. Access is limited to SixFiftyThree personnel who need it, which today means the owner. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information about you we hold;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop contacting you.
Email info@sixfiftythree.net and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you or treat you differently for making a request. Depending on where you live you may have these rights by statute; we extend them to everyone who asks regardless of residency.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
10. Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
11. Do Not Track
This site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because it does not track you across other sites in the first place.
12. Visitors outside the United States
This site is operated from the United States, and information you send is stored and processed here. If you contact us from elsewhere, you understand that your information is transferred to the United States.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
14. Contact
Questions, or a request under section 9, go to info@sixfiftythree.net or 224-653-8043. We are based in Lake Villa, Illinois, and a mailing address is available on request.
